AGI was selected to fabricate and install a complete wayfinding signage system for this brand new state of the art 2.5 billion dollar facility, which serves as Northwest Airlines World Gateway Headquarters.
This sign system included custom fabricated internally illuminated aluminum structures with coldformed acrylic faces, which was a common design element used throughout the project.
Many other unique challenges were encountered, from multiple foreign translations on wayfinding signage to varying installation conditions that required custom installation methods.
AGI’s strong project management ability was key in coordinating with the general contractor for installation of steel support structures within walls, columns and ceilings in order to achieve a smooth signage installation. This ability along with excellent fabrication techniques resulted in quality completion ahead of schedule.
